How the Questions Are Kept Current
Every mock exam is checked once a month against its official curriculum. When the curriculum changes, the questions are reviewed and revised against it.
- 1Each exam is compared with its official sources every month
- 2Any difference is flagged for review
- 3The questions are reviewed and revised
- 4The reviewed curriculum is recorded for the next check
What is compared
- The exam domains and their weights, on the Linux Foundation and cncf.io certification pages
- The competencies listed under each domain
- The pass mark, the exam duration and the question count, from the Linux Foundation exam FAQ and instructions
- The exam's curriculum PDF in the cncf/curriculum repository
- New major releases of the projects each exam covers, such as Argo CD, Cilium and Prometheus
Where every exam stands
A source that cannot be read never counts as a pass: an exam keeps its previous date until a check reads every source it depends on. A check stays current for 45 days.
Independent practice exams
These mock exams are independent practice material. The CNCF and the Linux Foundation publish the curriculum; they do not write, review or endorse these questions.
